Dogs Available for Adoption
Harmony
Adult Female Large Black, Apricot / Beige
Harmony is an Alaskan Husky who was surrendered at the shelter after her owner who had too many dogs didn't want her anymore. She has no idea why her life has been turned upside down. She is sweet and would make a great companion. She is shy processing the recent changes but takes it in stride and will cuddle up to you for affection. Harmony will need a patient family who can give her time to adjust to a home. She may be able to live with a four-legged male companion who can help show her how to enjoy this wonderful new life with loving humans and a peaceful home.
Crystal
Puppy Female Black/White
Crystal is a Siberian Husky who came to us when her family was moving and could no longer take care of her. She lived with fur-brothers and fur-sisters. She may benefit from having a male companion to keep her company and help her adjust. Natty is such a sweet girl but understandably confused and scared but does come around fairly quickly. She needs an understanding family that will go slow with her as she adjusts. Natty's safe and comfortable place right now is her crate which she loves so she will need one in her new home. No small animals or cats, please.
Minnie
Adult Female Small White / Cream
Minnie is a American Eskimo who was born on June 2020 and is full of life and adventures. If you were looking for that all around American girl, she is your girl! She has a knack for swimming and loves to hit up the creek and take a dip, but she is just as happy to be inside getting her belly rubbed too. She has been enjoying her time at Lucky Dogs Training & More! located in Virginia. She loves playing with her foster brother (Gator, a CHAAMP Malamute). She could live with another male companion who is compatible with her play style. She would also be just as happy as the only dog in the home to be spoiled. She walks great on a leash and is learning that car takes her to great places. Minnie would do best in a home with older children and no small pets.
Chase
Young Male Large Gray / Blue / Silver
Carson is a Seppala Siberian Sled dog who came to us from a puppy mill farm that closed down. He lived in a 10x10 run since he was a puppy with little human interaction. He is shy and timid but has learned so much in the little bit of time we have had him. He is a sweet deserving guy that will blossom with a patient family that can introduce him to life outside of a 10x10 run. He is looking for stability and someone to love. He would benefit from living with a female dog companion who can help show him what home life is like.
Yukon
Adult Male Large Black, White / Cream
Yukon is a three-year-old Alaskan Malamute boy who came to the rescue after his family could no longer take care of him. He is a good boy and wants a family to love him. He would love a hiking partner and someone who has time to spend with him. A fenced-in yard is his dream so he can have the freedom to run and play. He grew up with a child but due to his size, he would do best in a home with a child 8 years and over..

He loves to play fetch and will bring the ball back too! Harlow is potty and crate trained thanks to his foster mom and family that have helped his to be the best pup ever! He is also great on a leash and loves to go hiking and adventures. Harlow didn't come from the best place, so He is a little shy to new situations and other dogs. He does great with his foster four legged friends but will need time to warm up to meeting new dogs. He may be able to live with another male dog. He requires a fenced in yard and kids 8 and above.
Kachina
Young Female, White Coat
Kachina is a young Samoyed. and the life of the party! She is so happy to be in her new world and is ready for a family and adventures. She is a bubbly, bouncy, happy, sweet girl :) Kachina is small for a malamute, weighing about 56 pounds. She would make a great companion for someone who likes the great outdoors and has time to slowly introduce new and exciting things the world offers. She likes to cuddle and is ready to be a couch potato companion for movie nights.
Mia
Young Female Large Black / White
Mia is a 4 year old, Alaskan Klee Kai. She is very social, loving, friendly, and outgoing. Does well with kids and other dogs. NO cats, NO small animals. She does have a high prey drive with small animals and has been tested around cats, she does not do well with them. Mia does get excitable on leash when seeing other dogs (not aggression). Her foster mom/trainer will provide some tips for this when she goes to her new home and is with her new owners. Mia is completely house broken and crate trained, she knows how to use a dog door and/or sits by the door asking to go out. The first week or so in any new environment and new home with any new dog, there may be accidents while they adjust to their new routine. Mia is moderate to high energy. Despite her size, she would make a great companion for an active family who will include her into their life and activities.
